Did you know TIPS has placed more than 1,000 interns since our inaugural summer in 1997?
These interns not only made an indelible impact on the nonprofits they served during their TIPS summers, but have since gone on to propagate all sorts of good in our community: locally, nationally, and throughout the world!
We want to collect, foster, and share all of the good work and the success of our alum with our broader TIPS community so that we can learn, develop, and grow together.
It is with pleasure that we announce the creation of the TIPS Alumni Association!
Be on the lookout over the next few months for more information about what the Alumni Board is up to and how you can get involved with the association to help steer our work. Meghan Barnes, TIPS Class of 1998 and Luncheon Chair 2015, is excited to take on the role of Board Chair. Marlena Masterleo, TIPS Class of 2010, has also recently joined TIPS as our Alumni Summer Intern and will be coordinating the Alumni Association upcoming events and activities.
The Alumni Board seeks to reach all TIPS alumni in meaningful ways offering networking opportunities and professional development as well as calling on alum to act as mentors to active interns, participate in service days, host career workshops, and more.
For more information and to get involved, email the Alumni Association at firstname.lastname@example.org.
